With this hack you will have always on wifi and be able to disable it in the software or bios. The cooling fan is activated by the switch and goes from normal mode to high speed. I applied copper shims to my CPU, GPU and a copper penny to my Northbridge to enhance the cooling in this computer. These HP laptops are prone to overheating and the "Black Screen of Death." This modification keeps my computer in the high 40 degrees C and under high load a max of 72 degrees C. The GPU still run very hot and will require future modding for better cooling.
