I applied copper shims to my CPU, GPU and a copper penny to my Northbridge to enhance the cooling in this computer. These HP laptops are prone to overheating and the "Black Screen of Death." This modification keeps my computer in the high 40 degrees C and under high load a max of 72 degrees C. The GPU still run very hot and will require future modding for better cooling.
